Jessica Naumenko and Miles Pinney, both of Yardley, have been named the 2026 recipients of the Allen R. Leichter Memorial Scholarship.
The students were selected based on a submission of three original photographs and an essay describing their journey into photography. Each received a $500 scholarship and a $100 gift card to Allen’s Camera during the Pennsbury Senior Academic Awards Ceremony on May 26.
Senior Photography students vying for the scholarship had to have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and submit three of their most creative pictures along with an essay about how they became interested in photography.
Allen Leichter was the owner and operator of Allen’s Camera in Levittown, a company founded in 1977 when he was 22 years old. He started it as a one-man shop and developed it into a successful business.
“Allen will forever be in all our hearts, which is why we have this scholarship in his name," his wife, Shari, said. "Thank you to Jessica and Miles for carrying on Allen’s legacy and for keeping Allen Richard Leichter’s memory alive."
