Registration is now open for the annual Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K which will take place Saturday, March 14 at 9 am in Newtown Borough.
“We can’t wait for race day”, said Christine Edmonds, president of the local non-profit A Love for Life. "We are so thankful and excited to be the charity partner for the Newtown Shamrock Shuffle 5K again for 2026. Our decade-long connection with local Always Advancing/ Boss Events has helped us raise over a million dollars for our dedicated team of pancreatic cancer researchers at the Abramson Cancer Center. In addition to receiving a percentage of the registration fee, participants have the option of raising additional funds in honor of someone they love. It’s as simple as sharing our website www.aloveforlife.us with family and friends who can donate any amount they wish. This is one of the most fun days in Newtown Borough, and there’s so much swag; a cool race shirt, custom finisher medal, and lots of perks at local establishments after the race through the end of March.”
Registrants receive a limited edition long sleeved 2026 race shirt, custom medal and complimentary drinks at local spots. There will be live music and food specials at the after-party at the Temperance House, with a Stateside Vodka "Shamrock Sunshine” cocktail donated by Funding America Mortgage. There are also special offers and discounts at many local Newtown establishments which will be announced each week.
